I wasnt old enough to remember snoops run. I know people say Wayne but to me Wayne is on the same level Nelly was. Going by what I do know I would say Snoop is above DMX, around Em but still below 50.

2pac was literally god status. That fakkit thought Drake was bigger is snuffing some fukking paint thinner. He was Beatles status in a way. Dude was banking with the acting and his music was everywhere. When he dropped something, everyone was turned the fukk up and you couldn't go anywhere without someone playing it.

Ice Cube and Snoop had fukking amazing runs too. But 2Pac was a whole different level.

I agree with OP on 50 and Em. MC Hammer was huge at his peak too. Pac was very divisive tho. He was a superstar don't get me wrong but he didn't become a rap gawd until he died. Drake is definitely bigger on a mainstream level just becuz he gets way more radio play than Pac or Cube ever did. He's made top 40 music out the gate where I don't think Pac reached that level till Dear Mama. Cube I don't think reached that level till It Was A Good Day

No. Pac's hype when he signed to DR and his album anticipation (AEOM) were bigger than Drake's hype. Ice Cube as well. Pac was huge outside of rap, outside of movies. He really was the posterchild for Black America at one point. He, and solely he, in the eyes of the media and the public, was everything good and everything bad about Black America.

No other rapper is ever gonna, and ever will have to carry that weight.

1.) mid-80s run dmc
2.) '93-95 snoop doggy dogg
3.) '95-96 2pac
