KD was forcefed his rookie year and it cost them every game he was on the floor. A lot of the NBA was skeptical on the guy in his rookie year. I think his PER was barely above 15 if I remember right.

Wade was just another athletic combo guard with no range

both guys were 'aite' if we're talking about 'great' rookies in comparison. nobody is touching robinson's rookie year. lets stop fronting like these dudes came into the league as all-stars
Wrong about Wade. He missed like the first 9 games and the team started 0-7. They turned the team over to him around the 30 game mark after he beasted off the bench for a while and he took them to the playoffs. His per 36 numbers were better than Bron and Melo, his overall numbers suffered cause he came off the bench for a bunch of games early.

As far as being known nationally, he wasn't really on the map until he led the Heat thru the 1st round so maybe u are right. But as far as impact, he had the biggest rookie impact since maybe Iversion.

probably bron and melo. rose was nice but there's always gonna be a rookie each year that's nice

Bron and melo could easily hang with seasoned vets their rookie years, granted there was a lot fo hype surrounding them.

blake griffin was a beast as well
