to me it would have to be Bobby Hemmitt.

always brushed up through the years but this year i have seen all his teachings come to life.

put me on some master teachers for next year ... if its robert greene then so be it, just drop some gems.

there is the dopest youtube channel that upload 8+ 9+hours in one clip of all these teachers over time. very underappreciated its got Dr Ivan Sertima, John Clarke, Ben Jochannan, etc.

Good thread. I think you should only have one master teacher on some lifetime shyt but yeah got shapers this year. Tate :russ:

Reading Tarakh-Al-Sudan (History of Sudan- manuscript about songhay empire ) earlier this year renewed my pan-African fervor. For me it was more proof of concept how foolish the nativist “Africa is 54 countries with dif cultures!“ argument is because our people have lived and created multicultural kingdoms for thousands of years. This has helped me in the overarching struggle to see other Black people as my own.

On YouTube I’ve definitely been shaped a little this year by this funny looking mf here, he gets besieged by other critics but I‘ve become a huge supporter this year.

In my career I’ve been following this guy for about two years now, hes more on the venture capitalist side but gives great insights on how to set yourself apart working hybrid and how to synchronize assets without the Whartonite braggadocio bullshyt you often get from finance channels.

thats nice thats what its about.

the other clip is good to take in knowledge that normally goes elsewhere, leaves us with a more broadened outlook.

its like this positive sun energy anytime i take in these teachings and lecturers from holders of this master knowledge. it truly makes me stronger daily.

:salute:

Definitely brother.

One of the heaviest takeaways after that look into Songhai was how Islam coalesced around animist traditions. Growing up in America + 5 percenter shock therapy left me with a very “the mystery god is evil and colonized the black man!” view of things, you might even say a fundamentalist one smh. I’m only just now coming into the knowledge about pre-medieval African systems.

homer who wrote "The Iliad, and the Odyssey" the first piece of literature in europe which i know you know but he mentions in that book "all the Gods are from ethiopia".

Experience & those who have chosen to deal with me on a personal level beyond necessity are my master teachers.
