Ronaldo. Soccer players stop becoming elite in their late 20s or early 30s. This is true for most sports but the demands in soccer are high and there's not really a specialist role where they can be hidden.

Although I think if you add up the last 7 or 8 seasons no NBA player has logged more minutes than Lebron James. It wouldn't surprise me if his body broke down quickly. Especially at his size.

Ronaldo is already falling off, he doesn't do anything on the pitch besides tap-in goals and diving for penalties. If he doesn't score he's usually the worst player on the pitch.

Probably Ronaldo, winger or hybrid forward position he plays needs an athletic player. Unless he plays as a Raul type center forward relying on positioning he may struggle to keep up. It would be easier for him to play as a central midfielder if he had that passing aspect of his game because the deep CM position has accommodated older players. The other problem is that Real will always have an eye for the next big thing and it won't be as loyal as say United were to Giggs, Scholes.
