the problem is that if he doesn't know the Anthem is somehow a direct representative to the military by now to the majority of Americans then he is out of touch with reality.

his message is absolutely on point and correct. But sitting during the national anthem isn't the way to get THAT message across.

What annoys me is the premise that soldiers keep us safe. Nukes keep us safe. Look at Kim Jong. Dude does what he wants and aint nobody tryin to fukk w/ him, why? Its not his army.

The way our society deifies cops and soldiers is why cops act like azzholes here and soldiers act like azzholes over there.
