Looked like they were both looking for a fight, i could tell by how they were walking that they were prepared to take it as disrespect if someone bumped into them, while also completely unconcerned with making room for others as they made their way.

Watch again. I partially agree but the guy in red deserved that whooping.
Guy in the grey did actually make room for him. He visibly altered his steps to move towards the right. He could have done more, but was likely expecting the guy in red to meet him halfway and prepared to get physical if he didn't.

That would be a good point if he wasn't the first one to immediately start pushing the dude in the red.
