Micromanagement is at a bare minimum....as long as you are meeting/exceeding your goal consistently. You can also fly under the radar (if you chose to do so).

As long as your numbers look good, the execs are:hubie:. No hassle.

Almost like being a star athlete.

I hate that, because there's too many tricks people can use to cheat the game. One of my first job/intern the smartest guy on our team had the LOWEST statistics, but managment came to him to solve major problems. It's a deceptive in alot of cases.

If what you do can be represented by metrics then I see the benefits. As you're saying, there's not a whole lot of room for racism if they evaluate on quantitative numbers.

This is actually the reason colleges developed the common application, they were afraid if admissions was too metric based they couldn't properly keep minorities out.

However if you're job performance is not well explained by metrics, and/or the metrics themselves are flawed and easily manipulated, things get bad quick in cartoonish ways.

when I worked in defined benefits

3-4 hour work days. 2 hour lunches. The percs of being a top performer. :ahh:

boomers mad that they can't perform what I do in 3-4 hours without working the whole 8 hours stayed angry as fukk

Ima OG, do I dont get micromangaed liked most plus I have my own office offsite away from the offices the rest of the company sits at.

But i keeps my ear to the streets and these youngins cant take all thar micromanagjng shyt....i dont blame em
