This thread was inspired by the Nets sort of. So imagine you are a NBA gm assembling a squad and could get any player you want. The only stipulation is they have to be 35 or older.:flabbynsick: who is your starting 5 and how far would your team realistically go? Feel free to post your bench.

C Timmy
PF Dirk
SF Piru P
SG Bean (turns 35 this summer)
PG Nash or Billups(as if either one can last a whole season)

A lot of if's but if bean returns to form and a solid ass bench to spread mins then its championship bound.

Stupid thread. Only guy on the list whose age showed much was Nash. If Boston had rondo they beat Knicks. Kobe was balling and got hurt because he played stupid minutes. Dirk was still giving your fav pf work as usual. Y'all kill me with these corny old jokes. Come playoff time the old nikkas shine. Nets got y'all clowns :demonic:

Remove sand from vagina then post next time. I fukks with the grizz so I have no beef with the nets ole sensitive ass nikka. U must be rocking a bald spot and an ace wrap on your knee or something to take offense to this thread. First off homie 35 is old in basketball terms. 80 plus reg season games is no joke when you're pushing 40. Tim beasted last year but look how judicious pop was with his mins. Dirk had to get back in form after battling back from his injuries so don't act like dude merked all the pf this year. Pauls D is not what it use to be as he got older. Bean had to fight for a spot in the offs but no way he shouldve played as much mins otherwise. :what: the fukk u think I was downing these dudes I said they'd win.

My bad I didn't clarify I meant active players 35 and older. Cold ass list though. Mine would be close except I'd roll with zeke over Stockton

Isiah retired before 35, and even then, his last season isn't touchin' Stockton's @ 35. But current?? 1) Not sure there's enough star players @ that age in the NBA currently to make this valid, or should I say arguable, and 2) I personally don't consider The Big Fundamental a 5, but I could be wrong on both accounts, so I guess ur list is correct in that regard :ehh:

I think there are enough stars though barely. I'd convince grant hill to come back and j Kidd to be player/coach on some Jackie Moon flint tropics shyt. Throw in ray ray and kg "the kid" lol.Tim better suited at the 4 but the lack of C's in the league and every one trying their hand at "small ball"make him able to shine in either position.
