to answer your question OP when I tried to make my own porn I tried to model my flicks after jake steed flicks...dude didn’t over produce his flicks...it was professionally shot but still had a homegrown style to it and he always debuted new women for the most part instead of recycling actresses...imo he basically set the blueprint for black “independent” porn...I failed miserably btw and ended up w/ a bunch of poorly shot scenes that I couldn’t do anything w/ lol
