The American viewing public loves dominance, they love seeing something that they perceive to be historically significant. You could sell Bill Goldberg as the greatest and most dominant pro wrestler of all time, and you're seeing him in his prime right now. WCW could feed him guys once a month forever until the public says no more and they'd let you know. WWE fans don't buy Roman Reigns and even if they did the roster is just too small to have an elongated run with him the same way.

Two PPVs...I already told you about the Summerslam and WM reaction. Are you stupid? He came out to crazy ass pops all leading to Summerslam and WM 18. He came out to crazy pops all year long...he ran down Stone Cold when fans wanted Austin the most after the walk out and they cheered him like a god. Rock getting negative reactions at 4 shows all year and that's a bad year...what are you on crack? He still sold out more shows than anyone in 2002...including those who got cheered hard that year aka Austin, Hogan, Lesnar, and RVD. He did that..not them. Hell they could of went with kevin Sullivan's idea of protecting Goldberg and making him a ppv only talent while building booker, beniot, and gurrerro as the next wave of main event guys.
