Rock was stale than a motherfukker to people with common sense and actually watching wrestling in 2002. Him putting over Brock, taking a movie break, and coming back as Hollywood Rock was the greatest thing that ever happened to him

Anyway, had WCW properly built other guys, they wouldn't have been shyt out of luck once Goldberg lost

Who cares how stale you saw him as..he was making making money through the roof and carrying the wrestling industry on his back. He had no equal at the time and the wrestling game STILL hasn't really recovered since his long term departure. That's why everything he does gets analyzed the most these days.

Hollywood Rock was fun for the internet fans but he was basically Rock from 2002 while backing down a little bit more before the PPV matches.

Go get both lasik surgery and otoplasty for your ears, and go back and watch the WWE Network between 2002 and 2003. Rock in 2002 was basically an appealing CAW, a main-eventing placeholder until he put over Brock. His wrestling was stale, and his promos were stale. Hollywood Rock was a top 5 heel time, even though that persona didn't last long. He was cutting ethers promos, drawing massive heat (and of course cheers), while making other dudes look good. Sure, Rock in 02 was still a headliner and pulling in money, but he was as stale as old bread. Views and Carter 4 sold a lot, so you gonna tell me those weren't garbage? lol, cause Rock in 2002 was the wrestling equivalent to those albums.

The Rock, the most charismatic performer of the era, a guy who in 2002 had the crowd in the palm of his hand..the who turned an ANTI-Rock Hogan loving crowd in Montreal into Rock simps was a CAW? LMAO!

You got these new posters on here saying and doing WAY too much:laugh:

You lost by listening to Drake and Lil Wayne by choice...gay ass albums and content. Look up the Luniz Operation Stackola and get it together, kid.

The decision to beat Goldberg gets shyt on, but I don't understand what they think the alternative is? Beat everyone and then what? Beat them again?

That schtick only plays for so long.

Keep him undefeated until business drops. WCW had an endless roster

He got booed what? 3x all year and he was stale and took some eaetcoast thing to be different crowds. The pop the Rock got in Seattle before the Lesnar match was out of this world. The crowd control Rock showed on WWE draft night is something Austin, Hogan, Flair can do at their height. Very stale indeed:laugh:

Truth is..it was just white boys complaining at the time. They hated the Rock big time on the Net in 2001 and 2002. We got two idiots in here who don't know what drawing and good promos are. He thinks Nash was as big as Goldberg in 98:laugh: One of the silliest things ever said on this board.

If you go by that logic then Austin should have had a 3-4 year run

He could have but they knew his neck was a ticking time bomb. You can still have a Bruno/Hogan type title run if your business is right.

Fans had sand up their pussies over Rock taking time off to do movies, that's why he was booed at Raw 10 yr anniversary

If the Bulls won 8 straight in the 90s instead of 6 of 8, you think it woulda did harm to the NBA or would we have gotten even more MJ dikkriding tha we get now?
