this is the 25th anniversary of his death, all eyez on me and makaveli. We don't have any new music, movies, anything. All we got was some moist ass shirts for pride months.

They are completely letting his legacy die.

The only thing to do for AEOM would be her a good remaster done and include Hit Em Up on the album, maybe the Amitionz Az A Fighta joint just for shyts and giggles. What else would there be? We’re there any remixes? Maybe put Decks verse on Got My Mind Made Up

They could have released hi-res versions of his classics, based on remastering the original dac files. Just saying…

24/96 AEOM or Makaveki: 7 Day would be amazing. I’m not sure why they haven’t done this yet. Maybe they don’t have the original files?

Damn I could have sworn someone posted a magazine article that said Makaveli was done with a mixture of tape and digital recording and it can’t be properly mastered because files were lost. I hope it’s not true because a truly mastered version of that album would be amazing.

Yeah that came from Lance the engineer on Makaveli the og pressing of the album was crunchy sound wise because half way thru the album mixing they started using digital tools which were pretty ruff in 96.I nevee heard of the Makaveli master reels being lost tho.

Fam - All Eyez on Me is one of the greatest mixed and mastered in music history let alone rap.

I’m just throwing out ideas of what they would do for an anniversary edition. Usually they only do anniversary editions if there’s a reason for it like the album is out of print or if there’s something worthwhile to add to the album. Rare Remixes, different takes or verses, remastering if needed, different artwork, in depth liner notes. SOMETHING has to be new, no one is going to just go out and buy a new copy of an album if it’s exactly the same as the original except it has 25th anniversary plastered on the cover.

All those posthumous albums when i was growing was overkill. It was back to back to back. Many not good.

these 10 yr, 20 yr, 45 yr, anniversary is all arbitruary anyway. Every yr we get a reminder on his death and bday.

I actually just learned recently it's mixed incredibly.

And like Dark Side of the Moon - the original they say was mixed incredibly and I got the re-mastered.

I felt so confused.

They can mess everything up.

When something is mixed well - the slightest change can mess it all up.

I guess a reason to re-buy the original All eyez on me for those without it.

They’ve been handling his estate terribly since he died, only good posthumous albums were RUSD, Until the End of Time, and Still I Rise.
Only non album related thing I enjoyed was his resurrection documentary.
Pac still has a ton of shyt in the vaults just release it and have Daz, Quick or someone who knows what they’re doing, handle that shyt
Have his sales updated to reflect what it actually is today.
And we need another movie but actually a good one
