Who's had a work-wife/husband type of relationship?

For those who've never heard of the term, a work spouse is basically someone you emotionally connect with at work. For guys, it's usually a female who we treat like a wife in the sense that, we listen to them, bullshyt, etc. and the same guys for the females. It's basically a non-sexual relationship with someone to hold you down at work, similar to how bae will hold you down in the outside world.

For me, I've had a couple and they're all usually fun until things get fukked up with sex. For example, one time I was working at BofA and had a REALLY cool relationship with my co-worker/work wife. She would get me my coffee in the morning, water, make me toast and shyt, and I'd listen to her talk all day about her problems, we'd make jokes, etc.

Things got fukked up one night when we went out for drinks with some other co-workers, few shots later, we're making out in the bar, she's blowing me in the car, and we're fukking back at my place all in one night. Next day at work, things were so weird that we never kicked it again. Later she felt guilty saying her dude was in the military and that it was wrong what she did (even though she admitted that dude was smutting it up at the base).

I cannot allow these broads to fukk up my money. I had a situation like that one time where I was dusting off a broad I worked with. No bueno, clinginess at the job pursued. Never no more. Nothing past normal work or casual conversation at break or something. Unless it's money involved I don't want to see a female coworker after work unless it's a group activity or something.

You have to keep your distance with females on the job because anything can happen and they will believe her before they believe you.

I had a similar experience minus the sex and fortunately for me I caught it before it got to that point and this was kinda recent.

The chick was cool as hell and we would IM all day at work and we would go to lunch damn near everyday. She had a dude out of state and I'm married and I'm naive at times so I thought that would kill temptation on both sides because she seemed like she really loved dude. She met my wife because she met us for lunch a bunch of times and they would be chopping it up like they had known each other for years.

My lady even invited her over when Maidana fought Mayweather the 2nd time then shyt got weird. She needed help moving so me and my boy and some of her people helped out. I noticed that the apartment was close to my crib but I didn't think much of it but then she started being a little touchy feely with me. I was taken back by it but I played it cool but my boy kept laughing and saying that I must've hit her before but of course I didn't.

This was a Saturday and that Monday when we got to work she sent me an IM with all of these kiss face emojis and hearts. I responded back with a simple lol and at that point I knew it was time to leave her alone. I bailed and went to lunch without her that day and then she started sending me text saying she felt lame and that she had never done this before and basically professed her love for me and said her mom loved me and all types of mushy shyt and then told me to swing by after work.

I just told her I'm good and we haven't spoken since. We walk right past each other everyday and not a word is said...

I had a couple of these; not now because there are only 3 women at my job, I kinda miss working with females shyt is fun.

At my old job I had 3 girls; the way it balanced out was that it was a 24-7 lab so they all worked different days and times, and I worked M-F. My main chick was this short filipino girl, we always worked together and she would cook me food, but the food always incorporated rice in it, that gets old. She would tell me how her weekend was and hit that happened to her when she was a kid, and tell me extremely personal shyt. Things never got sexual; I never do that at the job, shyt will hit the fan bad.

Our coworker had a birthday party at this filipino restaurant and she came and she brought he sister and she introduced me to her and we sat by each other. While eating she would get the food for me and fix my plate and it was cool. When there were other functions my coworkers had I me and her would always hang or sit together. shyt did not end bad I left and found another job; and the other two girls was a ethopian chick and a black and mexican chick.

When I think about it the filipino chick was almost wife material; cooked, cleaned, educated, stayed in shape, good personality, had manners and other things.

I've had a few. I had one I'm still cool with to this day, even tho she left. We became friends outside of work and her whole family knows me. I'm cool with her husband, he worked with me after. And her brother is who I mostly hang out with these days. Was never anything sexual with any of them. I got one now who I wouldn't call my work wife, more like my work therapist. Someone I can relate and talk to about issues with our boss or other work fukkery or issues with the other employees. I'm not trying to have a work wife anyways. I'm cool with a few females but I don't think it's a good idea to get involved physically especially with it being a small group and I'm not trying to create drama. As much as I would like. Not worth the risk right now.

When I worked at Bloomberg I had two work wives at the same time and they both competed and used to be jealous of each other. Both were top notch women in their own right. I know for sure that both of them wanted something more and it drove them crazy that I was already married.

It's inappropriate for a married person to have a work spouse because it's just a type of emotional affair that can quickly turn physical. It's not something that's all innocent like some people pretend it is.
