I think he's trying to say that's who he thought was running the company.(?)

That's the only executive I saw that fits their own "target demographic".

I remember I was trying to get a job at Dr Jays in the warehouse and we had to go upstairs to the office. Lets say the staff looked more likely to buy from Forever 21 than Dr. Jays.

There was something that bothered me about that.
