I've seen Wiz Khalifa, Watch the Throne, Kendrick, J. Cole, Drake, The Weeknd, Pusha T, Dom Kennedy, Justin Timberlake and Kanye West out here in these London streets in the past few years (not to mention the rest of the nikkas I've seen at festivals). Some were dope, some were average.

None have been as TRASH as the shows Big Sean and A$AP Rocky put on over here though. I'm never one to usually complain but these joints genuinely made me salty that I dropped £20 on the fukking tickets.

Who else you seen that left you :beli:

Not hip hop, but I saw Mike Epps open for Snoop Dogg once and it was so bad. I don't know if he was having an off night or what, but all he did was ask, over and over, variations of "Where the b-tches at? Where the white people at?" It was like watching an anti-comedy show.

The funniest/saddest part was when he thought he had wrapped up, then someone came up and asked him to go for 5 more minutes to give Snoop some more time.

I saw Warren G once and I thought it was fine, I mean, what do you expect from Warren G these days, but my friend was salty after that one!

Show was like $15 at this little spot so we went. First doors "opened" at 7pm, so we got there around 6:15. Didn't walk into til 8 pm :mjpls:

Then we get in and this dude in the crowd just got up and beat one of the bouncer's ass cause he asked him to stop smoking, bouncer was leaking and everything :flabbynsick:

While we were outside waiting this little white boy kept talking to us (about 15, jewish, fat, with a snapback :snoop:). We just kept brushing him off. Come to find out once we get inside this dude is on stage with a mic :wtf:. It was like if you could get a mic you could get on stage.

Then some of the local rappers opened and were the worst, people threw their cds back at them :russ:

Then the whole jets crew comes out, Roddy and Trademark killed it. FINALLY around 1:00 in the morning (concert started at 8) Spitta comes on and performs for like 35 minutes :aicmon:.

It was only $15 but that was the worst, and it was on a Tuesday so work the next morning was :sadbron:

Rick Ross.

Dude came out and started okay with BMF and then just kinda stumbled around and cut his set short after 40 mins and had Gunplay jump into the crowd and start a fight which cleared everything out.

This was back around 96...The Lost Boyz hadn't blown up yet but they were the opening act for Busta, Jay Z and some others.

They got on stage doing their lil dance. Cats starting booing :lupe:

Then they threw pennies at them..

sadly PROJECT PAT was the worst hip-hop show i've ever seen. i am a huge fan of his and was really excited for the gig. drove 30 miles to the little town where the club was (same town i went to college in) and the show was in an enormous sports bar/nightclub promoted by this dude JP AKA Mr. 724. here's a video from his mixtape with pat :lolbron:

anyway, we get there and the place is gigantic and about 50 people showed up :pachaha: to about 7 openers. we were in the VIP drinking free grey goose because there was no one there for this dude's 30th birthday. the best photo of the night from my instagram.

this girl was named NUNU and she sang R&B most notably a cover of "let's get it on". "woof".

we had gotten there around 9:30 and after awhile i got really bored so i snuck up to the DJ area and smoked a blunt with the local DJ. came back to the VIP and then it was time for PP to eventually go on. we hadn't seen him all night but eventually realized he had been in the way back of the VIP chilling all night. he gets onstage with his hypeman and MR. 724 (LOL) and he didn't seem to have his own DJ so he had this wasted dude running a CDR of his songs offstage :snoop:

PAT looks pretty bummed on the turnout and after about 7 minutes of rapping over his own CD complete with skipping tracks :lolbron: and him glancing up at the DJ booth like :rudy: eventually the club turned the lights on and that was it. PP straight up beat feet and got the fukk out of there. i am pretty sure he made his money ahead of time and just wanted to bounce. we were all convinced that JP was going to get a beatdown but i saw a pic of him online with JUICY J recently so who knows. dude looks like VARYS from GAME OF THRONES! LOL!

if PP had played in pittsburgh i am sure the show would have been much better :dj2: but it was quite an odd experience.

I saw 50 cent on the GRODT tour. He walks out . Everyone is hyped .

He seemingly launches into "What up Gangster". The beat cuts off . He attempts to address the crowd. His voice breaks like the pimply faced nerd on The Simpsons .

Everyone's like: :wtf:

He leaves stage for like 5 minutes. Comes back out and proceeds to mine the entire set while Banks REALLY earned his money as hypeman. Filling in more than he needed to.

The entire stadium crowd had Stockholm syndrome by the third song and pretended it was ok that Curtis was on some Marcel Marceau / Britney Spears award show tip for the remainder. :snoop:

I think I mentioned this before on here . But fukk it I'm still salty a decade later.
