Best trainer - Roger Mayweather, its always Roger Mayweather

Didn't Floyd Sr train Floyd this year since Roger had some health issues?

I always preferred Floyd Sr as his trainer vs Roger. His defense looks better under Floyd Sr, whereas Roger helps Floyd's offensive game more. Roger got Floyd's offensive game looking pretty amazing...but I always take that with a grain of salt, since Floyd's hands are problematic I feel he is suited better to be at his best on defense rather than offense.

No doubt both are great. Personally I prefer how Floyd looks when Sr trains him. But you can notice that when Roger trains him his offense looks crisper and more aggressive.

I would go with:

1. Golovkin- 4 fights, 4 KOs. Stepping up in pressure and class with each fight. I put stock in finishes. Plus, he makes heavier KO artists like Kovalev fall back in sparring sessions.
2. Garcia- huge win on a PPV against a fighter NO ONE wanted to step in with, and won handily.
3. Kovalev- knocking fools out on multiple continents. Moving up in class, fighting on road and getting KOs

Cant put Mikey Garcia in there if he cant be bothered to make weight for a fight. Rigo is too inactive. Broner wins, but clowns too much against fighters he should be taking out.

i did it for newzz. but really he hasn't had a bad year just hasn't had that great performance everyone is expecting from him. maybe its just the expectations are a bit too high for broner. he did move up to 147 and beat paulie, like it or not, regardless of who he beat aint too many guys on that list within the last 25-30 years of the sport to jump up 2 weight classes(bernard, Shane) and win a title in their first fight. if he puts on a show and beat maidana ( top quality guy), somebody out there will vote for broner as FOTY. im not saying I will, but he should be considered or even honorable mentioned.

Maybe not the best competition but he still fought 3 very solid fighters this year along with the man to hand him his only loss and stopped them all. I didn't watch the whole Boone fight. So, I don't know how it went round by round but Adonis also did not lose a single round in any of the other 3 fights. Danny's got that big win over Matthysse but the Zab win was nothing spectacular. I really don't feel like Zab is any better a fighter than Dawson. So, it's not like Danny's competition was leaps and bounds better.
