its a tie between Rza and Kanye

Rza has made classics for others yet really only has 1 good solo (Digital Bullet) but was always lyrical

Kanye has classic albums , gave Common a classic and has made classic singles for others but not as lyrical as Rza but he did display skills in his prime...thats why its tied



Pharrel and Dre are trash on the mic

Diamond D, Quik and Eric Sermon were mediocre on the mic

Havocs 1st solo was weak

MF Doom, J Dilla, Lord Finesse, LP, Big Krit.....they never had mainstream success on the level of a Kanye or Wu Tang.

Q Tip didnt produce all them tribe beats

Should add Count Bass D to the list. Out of everyone on here though, Diamond, Kanye, Finesse, Dre, and Quik have made the best solo LP's. I'll say Quik since he's the most consistent.
