Acting wise I'd put them on the same level (I do rank Bobby one spot higher), when you list Deniro's classics though...sheesh.

When has he ever done sci fi? or Fantasy? Historical dramas?
Both great actors but i prefer Denzel in that respect, both can do some American Gangster/ Casino type shyt, but DeNiro not going to do Gladiator, or Magificent 7, or Book of Eli, Or Malcolm X.

I get tired of the generic action flicks every time or the generic gangster flick.
