I would say Garnett.
But it's not like McGrady was chopped liver.

T-Mac was a better scorer. That's all. That's it. This is not close.

That's not meant to be T-Mac slander either. That's how crazy KG's impact on the game was.
Miss me with that. T-mac was just as good if not better passer than KG who was capable of locking up his man if he wanted to as well just didn't put in this effort game in and game out like KG did. Don't act like McGrady wasn't putting up numbers very close to what Bron usually does. I know he was getting over 5 board and 5 assists a night minimum. So to me T-mac better scorer and playmaker and KG better defender. I'm not going to sit here and act like T-mac wouldn't have had some sort of success if he had a front office worth a damn or if him and Yao would have had a little bit better luck.

5 and 5? :russ:

KG's last 6 years in Minnesota he gave you at least 12 rebounds and 4 dimes. 4 of those 6 years it was 5 dimes. Plus nearly 2 blocks and 2 steals. And 20+ scoring. And none of this "when he wanted to" shyt on defense.

And prime T-mac was giving you between 25-30 a night with 6 assists 6 boards a block and a steal a night. Impact wasn't to much different just one ore dominant on the defensive end and one more dominant on the offensive side. For as much as KG was better defensively than T-mac on offense McGrady was that much better than Garnett so to me it pretty much balances it out. KG might shut his man down but he might be getting shut down his self come 4th quarter when it counts the most. For all his faults McGrady was not scared of the moment at least from what I remember.

KG probably would've done better in Minny too if he didn't have a clown for a GM:sas2:

KG at his peak was 24-14-5

KG was more of a mismatch to me but he was so unselfish, he couldn't win alone
