Who's the most incompetent developer in gaming?

To me Japanese developers have a monopoly on this. It's a tossup between Capcom and the Japanese branch of Square Enix maybe Sega as a runner up.

Capcom won't release a survival horror Resident Evil anymore. Refuses to release another real Mega Man game but won't rid themselves of the IP and instead elect to make mobile games. They're damn near bankrupt and now they wanna take a classic series like Breath of Fire and make it into a mobile game.

Square Enix is just terribly ran in general. Verses XIII has been in development for 8 years across two platforms and still doesn't have a solid release date and after being re-introduced last year has gone dark again. They spent the last several years destroying their biggest brand releasing followups to a game most people didn't like (Final Fantasy XIII) and didn't want sequels to. It's too difficult to remake VII but you can spend 8 years making Versus XIII?

Sega completely destroyed Sonic. The character and brand are jokes now. The games their western fans want (Yakuza series, Valkyria Chronicles, Shenmue) are nowhere to be found or non-existent because they mishandled them and now either refuse to release more of them or won't localize the most recent ones they made or both.

Its a shame how bad Crapcom fell off.. that i have to refer to them as Crapcom instead of Crackcom based on the crack they delivered in the 90s

Most of the talent at Capcom left to go to Platnium Games

Same with Square and Mistwalker

For American developers I'll get it out the way and say Infinity Ward post Modern Warfare 2. I know that after that it was only Infinity Ward in name as all the talent went to Respawn, but how do you have a cash cow and continually screw it up as bad as it has gotten? There used to be a time where I would only play Infinity Ward CoDs and look at Treyarch CoDs like it's literally the opposite now

Youve pretty much hit them on the head, throw Konami in there for good measure, and they only hangining in there because of MGS (im sure they developed other games but they still have not given me ZOE3 so fukk em)

Went from the goat to I can't remember one recent sega game that was good.
