Was about to say Coolio but fact checked myself and saw that he’s got like 6 high charting hits. Need to play them to refresh my memory
Yeah Coolio was a star before DM. That said, the only other ones I remember off top are Too Hot and Fantastic Voyage though. All them shyts are sample driven too. So that cuts into his money.

You're only proving my point.

Of course a user of a hip-hop Internet forum would remember his other hits.

You're average person only remembers Right Thurr.
Holiday Inn and one call away both hit 2 and 3 on the billboard 100, they're very well known songs outside of hiphop

in hiphop its prolly Vanilla Ice or Sir Mix A Lot even though technically they arent one hit wonders..ice did have play that funky music lol
Suge and the alleged writer gave him the Big Red treatment for the royalties. It's Mix-A-Lot.

These are good songs (a couple classics), but not "hits". Hip-Hop heads will know some or most of them. Baby Got Back is the only song of his still relevant in any fashion today. Nasty Dog gets some burn on Tik-Tok, but in 2025, that and BGB are it.

Oh I know those aren’t hits but they were well known around my way(I’m from Ga) Mix A Lot was doing it big.. baby got back just put him in a whole other stratosphere.
