:laff: at poll.
Actually a hard pick for me. :patrice:
Shaq is always a funny case to me. The most dominate of those players but also the least skilled.

Hard splitting hairs distinguishing between greatness. Therefore, gotta go with the guy with the least amount of rings: Hakeem:to: sorry breh.

Tim was 37 years old. Think on that.

They don't want to hear it. Only on the coli do they think Duncan's career started in his late 30s. All the shyt about pops "system", Losing in game 7 to the heat, becoming a role player ... All that was in his late 30s. They don't want to think about his prime or his mvp years. All the criticism I hear for him is when he had 2 bad knees approaching 40.

Tim's on court production never went down cause his skills eroded, his minutes just went down. He averaged less than 30 mins a game in 5 of his last 6 seasons, and the one season he averaged at least 30 minutes he made All NBA 1st team in 2013

He spent his last 6 seasons on minute restrictions, bad knees, and rest and still had 3 All Star selections, a NBA 1st team and 3rd team nod, a championship, and 2 Finals appearances

Even while getting older he was still their best two-way player until last season. He just wasn't carrying the offense as he did from 1999-2009.

nikkas can get the fukk outta here with that role player shyt

we are talking about two entirely different things like I said in my last post
you even started your message with "Why the hell does "being the best at any one thing compared to anyone on that list" mean anything?"

im looking at it from a player to player perspective not a team one
there isnt anyone on the list duncan could stop and besides posting up kobe on offense he would get his food eaten by everyone... all that block shyt and what he did consistent doesnt matter with how im looking at it ... hes not strong enough to guard shaq, lebron ... he's not agile enough to guard kobe or hakeem ... and KAJ would give him that work. racking up blocks on bum ass players doesnt matter to me

its like saying "yo lebron jumped over a human during a game!!!"
then realizing it was just john lucas ... its some normal shyt

and you proved my point about shaq ... besides being big he wasnt really shyt

duncan is career 69% free throw :russ:
but I do give him credit and can see you're a big fan and shyt ... I was a suns fan
duncan hit that 3 to seal the game in that series... he's a good player and you gotta always watch him regardless of age
he's actually still really good if he didnt lose acceleration and ive always enjoyed the way he would anchor the defense and make sure people were doing what they were supposed to

None of those players could guard Duncan either though. Duncan beat Shaq and Kobe in their prime with little to no help :francis:

Duncan is elite at everything you want a big men to be great at.

His fans wax poetic about him but every other player on that list has done things Hakeem has NOT. He is clearly the worst of the pack.

:skip: HAKEEM IS THE ONLY PLAYER ON THE LIST TO WIN DPOY
AND HE DID IT TWICE.

 1ST ALL TIME IN BLOCKED SHOTS...

8TH ALL TIME IN STEALS...

nobody can answer this without some amount of personal bias. Personally, I'm voting Duncan.

lol @ somebody saying Kareem

That's crazy, Kareem would average 50ppg now. Just turn around and sky hook all day. NOBODY in the game today is good enough or even tall enough to stop him.
