For those who don't know what this site is, it's a site where you can look up a song and you can find what samples are contained in the song. For a young dude like myself it has helped put me onto a lot of older artists

As a producer/sampler I have love/hate relationship with that site, its great for building sample and artist knowledge but at the same time it gives the game away and removes a lot of the mystery behind sampling. You look at any instrumental video on youtube these days and one of the first questions from other producers is always "whats the sample?". I guess its a gift and a curse. Just hope not too many lawsuits were build off the back of that site

Yeah exactly man, samples are a sacred part of hip hop production..Its hard enough using them and not getting caught without sites like this airing it out
