human greed will make any economic system dysfunctional

and human ingenuity based on a system of moral values will make any economic system successful.

capitalism, socialism, communism, anarchy, free market, austrian, chicago, etc... with the right people in charge any system can work. but again on the flip side, with irresponsible leadership at the helm and with greed as our value system, no system we put in place will be successful.

I probably lean harder toward Marx nowadays than Keynes

We are at the end of history. Marxism/socialism/communism have all been discredited, just as republics and democracies were after the fall of Greece and Rome.
