Can you elaborate, cuz dudes pinnacle was the Jay/Puff war over signing Jay Elec..after that he began his decline into flabby and sick syndrome..

I forget where, but, Just Blaze kinda detailed how he was having trouble adjusting from homelessness and couch surfing to being a potential megastar.

And he was on his "I'm scared they gonna hate it" with the music (album).

I'll give him this;
  1. I'm still surprised his type of rapping/writing blow up like it did
  2. Dude prolly wanted a look and some money after struggling and prolly not mega star status with a bunch of obligations to the music business--he's a kinda weird dude

Wale should be up there with Kendrick and Cole :mjcry:. He was the most versatile out of that whole peer group imo and should be the biggest one these days :mjcry:. Im probably the inly one who liked attention defecit :sadcam:, used to listen to it a lot before school in the mornings. I haven't checked for him in a long ass time...what happened to him?

Cyhi got shelved instead of dropping when he had buzz 7 years ago :francis:. I don't really fukk with that street pastor shyt he pushing these days :ld:, still need to give the album a proper listen. He's a lot cornier than I remembered but he's still spitting :whew:

KRIT :sadbron:. How he can't break out is a crime. He should be the biggest southern artist these days but I guess he needs hits to do so :francis: (Country shyt and I got this from the first album should have been pushed way more by def jam :stopitslime:).

Casey Veggies - when he dropped Life Changes I just knew he'd at least be a west coast staple like Dom, Nip etc.. I still love that project front to back :to:

Mick Jenkins - another person I didn't expect to be a star, but thought he'd have a higher profile by now.
