They do get recognition: just as much as UGK, Outkast, ect. You dont have to be mainstream to get recognition. Dudes from all over the damn coasts acknowledge and LOVE 8Ball and MJG. I really hate that channel.
They are one of my favorite groups of all time..

I think they get a lot of luv. You could make the argument that a group like ghetto Mafia don't get as much luv as they should

This would apply more to Outkast. Ball & G are straight forward gangsta/pimp rappers nothing too complex about their style at all.
They're celebrated by their core fanbase (40+ year olds from the south) but they were just never as popular as peak UGK, Three Six or Outkast.

They never had big crossover singles, simple. You either had to be from the south or a fan of sourthern music to be really tapped into them.
Facts so many of these content creators are goofy opportunist...
Ball n G definitely had depth to there style and delivery, for one they where sharp lyrically not to mention elite with the double meaning and symbolism...Not to many straight forward gangsta/pimp rapper bringing there type of versatility if any....
