I remember when the right wing media machine was trying to paint the Obama's as angry, they try to hit Michelle with the angry black woman stereotype every other week.

They thought if they painted them as angry negroes, they could scare enough whites out of voting for them.

Because black people are constantly being given reasons to be angry:
-Stop and frisk
-Police brutality
-Anti-black imagery in media
-Being constantly pandered to and told what they're supposed to like. I know there are posters here who've run into white people or even other black people who've acted surprised when they said they don't strictly listen to hip hop and R&B

Also a fear of black aggression motivates mistreatment of black people. There's always an expectation that we'll just go crazy for no reason so they want to paint us as angry people.
