my friends and I used to disrespect "gamer girls" all of the time, I really hated the ones that would try to nonchalantly show off their singing """skills""" so it was really fun to bully them off of the game.

In real life, people enjoy being with people who enjoy the same things they do. In this nerdy online stuff, it sounds like people who have little interaction with women get overly excited. I'm very familiar with the female voice so I can't relate with the video in the OP.

Nerds and virgins think its going to be "awesome" sharing a console with someone who gets emotional over; the time of day, the weather, general pettiness, sounds, etc...clearly they haven't had a girlfriend. There's truly nothing fun about either sharing a system or sharing your general experience with someone who is only going to complain about it in the end.

Sure its fun for the first week or even month...then you realize that she's not really a gamer, but more of a chameleon girlfriend...those are just the worst, liking everything you do...its like one of those parents still stuck on their mid-life crisis trying to be hip by listening to some Kendrick.
