I remember when Final Fantasy XIII-2 came out in Japan months before it came out in the US I was on gamefaqs and I see a thread something like

Spoiler

"Serah's death" as the title. I just sat there for like five minutes on some I can't believe they killed the main character and dude spoiled it in a thread title.

I said fukk it at that point and spoiled the whole game for myself. I still bought it and enjoyed it, but that was fukked up.

If you can help it. Just black out. Apart from some arsehole in your vicinity verbally telling you shyt, you're able to control the vast majority of shyte you see on the Internet. Stay away from anything remotely resembling something you haven't finished incase someone wanted to be a nonce and drop spoilers on it. Include trailers from here on out because Hideo Kojima's middle finger to Konami extended to the fans with that last supposedly sentimental trailer he made. The second half will have your brain go on how many spoilers that knob dropped in that one.
