"Have you heard? The XXXXXXX: Part 2 has broken a box office record coming in with a $87 million opening weekend! That is the biggest opening for a movie debuting on a Wednesday....... in the first quarter of July....... during a snowstorm............ in the North American region..........catering to families with 2.2 children! It beat a XXXXXX (The original) which debuted in 1987. Simply amazing!"

Yes, I may be exaggerating but nonetheless a movie that has the benefit of all of these caveats and with matinee tix prices starting at $10, it is bound to fukking surpass any record.:what:

I'm more impressed by the fact that you missed the Arcadium by this much and Gizzle's first post wasn't calling you for it.

I never understood why it didn't go by tickets sold... ticket prices vary throughout the country

Kinda like record sales! The price change for a particular CD can change drastically from store to store let alone state to state or region or region. A movie ticket in Manhattan will be exponentially higher than one in East Bumblefukk, North Dakota.
