You being a Texas breh as well should know that Juneteenth is only significant to our heritage.

Black people in other states should celebrate when they were finally freed. Not celebrate when Black people in Texas were freed.

I saw somebody close off a block and throw a free Juneteenth party on my way home.
The banner in front of the DJ booth read "None of us are free until all of us are free" or something to that effect.
That's a good enough reason for me.

alot californians are from tx so when nikkas got free..they left
