Why Are Older People So Negative?

I always remembered him being negative about shyt to the point Id keep my distance from him cuz it was overwhelming

because they see through the bullshyt this society props up.

they lived through it, were in the midst of it being torn down only for the gains to be made to be stifled in the process or pushed back to square one.

imagine being an older person (a boomer) and seeing all your peers yucking it up in a life of luxury , oblivious to the bleak reality. yet for some reason you ended up in a subsidzed studio apartment, need food stamps to get by and maybe one movie and nostalgia keeping you from committing that, and the young people around you are deep sea dived into materialistic bullshyt for a variety of reasons as the world around us continues to spiral out of control

To be honest, life for the average person is boring as hell and nothing spectacular

Also, alot of people got a lot of regret weighing them down.

In my family, either youre successful or dead fukking broke.

I see the contrast between alot of the old heads.

And even if youre successful... You got a bunch of debt and obligations and you gotta maintain what you've built.


Life really aint shyt.

Thats why I rather do it big, or not do it at all.

I swear I was ready to fade my grandfather today about it too

I’m vaping in the house and he starts trying to discipline me in the house in front of everyone and I just ignored it..

I’m like you’re sitting here drinking beer after beer, knocking shyt over, being an alcoholic STILL, etc., and you want to talk to me about vaping? Not even smoking (which I don’t do inside) but vaping.... because you old af and don’t know shyt about shyt after 1980?

I almost cussed his ass out... like I don’t remember all the really dumb shyt he did in the house and everyone is like because they can see the on my face and everyone knows idgaf about checking people and telling them about themselves in front of everyone

When they were a young motherfukker...they had all the possibilities open to them...cause of youth...and slowly but surely...youth fades away from you...possibilities close...and then you reach a point where reality hits you....and you have the curse of hindsight


Which is why...having memories suck and getting older sucks...

Only happy go lucky old people I ever seen are the ones that got wise enough to stop giving a fukk...like my grandpa...

Gives zero fukks...about anything or anybody...went to see the nikka and he dipped out and went driving around doing whatever he do...

Stayed 3 days and probably saw him for 3 hours...

He told me some stories...gave me some money...and kept it moving....

He gives no advice, no wisdom...cause he expects you to figure it out on your own...he old...he ain't spending days worrying about your shyt...


Key to happiness....stop caring as you get older...leave the world for the young

Older people I know that smash ass ain't never really came across as negative to me as much as the lonely old Mrs Haversham ass bytches I've had the misfortune of dealing with, both male and female.
