And not focusing on the fact that not a lot of people want to pay $1200-3000 for nosebleed seats to watch a game in 20 degree weather?
Isn't transportation to the site supposed to be a nightmare too?
If they was gonna have the SB in the NY area, they should have it had at Yankee Stadium or Citi Field, at least transportation wouldn't have been a issue
Back in the day the Jets and Giants played football games at the OG Yankee Stadium and Shea, it was for brief periods but it did happen
I'm SHOCKED at low ticket sales just because the game is being played so close to Manhattan which is a HUGE tourist magnet, You'd think the appeal would be to enjoy the city then on Sunday go to Metlife to watch the game, guess not![]()
Most of the tickets are bought by corporations and companies, so I'm not buying that. Peyton's the biggest star in the league and Super Bowl ratings seem to be higher each year too.Neither fanbases are huge and both are far away distance wise. SF-NE would have been a hotter ticket, no question.

So nobody had to take days off from Baltimore or The Bay to go to New Orleans last year?TV ratings and attendance are mutually exclusive.
All the corporate tickets are bought. Actually all the tix are bought you're talking about the secondary market...the reason its low is becuase of the two teams and the distance the fan base would have to travel. You need to take days off if you live in Seattle. The game itself is sold out.

This is exactly what I'm talking about.I blame it on the Gestapo disguised as city government that came with all the ridiculous rules for the game. The fact that you can't have someone drove you there and having only 15,000 parking spots is ridiculous. So you mean I gotta pay thousands for a ticket, but can't catch a cab or limo there? fukk outta here b, I'll watch that shyt at home.
Well, you just said people in Seattle had to take days off to go to NY, as if B'More and SF were a three hour drive from NO.What's your point? Baltimore and SF have bigger fanbases

The Broncos are the leading religion here in Denver. I can guarantee you that anybody from the area who wants to see that game in person is getting a ticket. With all the 12th man shyt in Seattle, I'm sure they're the same way.
This is exactly what I'm talking about.
So Peyton set about every QB record imaginable this season and the Broncos as a team set all sorts of scoring records, but nobody wants to see them? I don't buy it.Their fanbases arent nearly as big as the Niners or Ravens though. Obviously the cold plays a part but it's not a good matchup for the secondary market. The game is soldout.
