TL;DR at the bottom.

The biggest thing that's weird about this whole situation is trying to figure out when people relied on KD to show up this much. I mean they're saying and acting like the two best players on GS are not people who tend to shrink in big moments. Now when I say shrink, I don't mean that they become trash. They're so good at their best that even when they play less than stellar, they're pretty much better than most players.

But KD had a 10/31 close our game against the Warriors last year. And had moments in big games before that , that were puzzling. Steph has yet to play his best on the big stage. He wasn't flat out amazing in 2015, even if you wanna say he was "injured" in 2016.

I don't see GS winning this series at all. Love wants to redeem himself and is playing like it. Kyrie was made for this stage, and King James is always ready to ball and is looking forward to his seventh final. Not to mention Lebron is also going to his seventh final. I don't know, maybe it's me.

But I thought that people learned last year that when it comes to the finals, the 82 games in the regular season, and the 12 post season Victories after that enroute to the finals, don't mean shyt. It's about getting the last 4. It's about who shows up in THOSE games. Y'all that confident that Steph and KD gone show up and play their best? Based on what?

TL;DR: I'm not confident in Steph or KD playing their best basketball in the finals, while I believe that Kyrie, Love, King James, and Lebron will undoubtedly show up. At least Kyrie and Lebron will

Now who else wanna fukk with Hollywood Court?
The only thing I don't understand is shytting on the East for lack of competition when the road the Warriors took really isn't much different.

Like, the Blazers, Jazz and Spurs (without Kawhi) would all get the same treatment from the Cavs that they got from the Warriors, blowout wins where the opponent just doesn't have the offense to keep pace.

This is true as well. Cavs sweep the Blazers and Jazz, and maybe would take ONE loss to the Spurs, but the Warriors were on their way to being blown out the one time they played a healthy elite squad. That game was very telling.

Not to mention that the Cavs and the Dubs SPLIT the season series. There was no sweep.

The Warriors are that good, the Cavs can't even win 60 games. The injuries were just unfortunate.

I'm just in this to see which brand of fukkery will nuke the servers:

The consensus GOAT of this generation of Ball Players going 3-5 in the finals after making so much history and becoming the best playoff scorer ever, or The most stacked team in NBA History, who have had the best three year stretch of any team ever, blowing two straight finals after being the heavy favorites

The Warriors defense is on another level, they are the better team. Like LeBron said they've been the best team in our league over the past three years. They have more wins over the last three years than any team in NBA history.

Also, I wouldn't doubt KD. KD isn't Harden, he has put up numbers in the Finals before and is a fearsome player always has been.

I'm rooting for LeBron, and I think intangibles can help will them to victory. But they CLEARLY aren't the better team.

To most people, GS looks stacked. At least when it comes to starters.

Edit: Vegas has GS favored too, for what that's worth.:yeshrug:
