Why are people so desperate to not acknowledge that obesity is bad?

Got into an argument with a friend of mine and he said that obesity is not a condition……WTF…….and it means nothing cause a skinny person can die of bad health (ok and?)

He even called me a body shamer




I really don’t get people who try to downplay statistics from the CDC.

I asked my homie since obesity means nothing can he pinpoint me to a healthy society or sports team with equal amounts of people who are obese and he couldn’t even answer the question.

Modern American diet is trash. Our food is filled with bullshyt even the meat. Our government sold the people out to big corporations who only care about maximum profit which includes filling the food with the cheapest most addictive ingredients that are banned in most other countries

Its also why "primitive" societies had perfect teeth, cranial development and very strong bones. I think it boils down to some people find better shyt to worry about. If I’m not fat why should I care if someone else is fat? Especially if it has zero effect on me? There’s better shyt to worry about, you can spend that time worrying about things that matter. American society loves small talk though so there’s also that.
