I have never heard a non black person tell a funny joke about black people. It is always something about fried chicken, watermelon or a saying something stupid with an awful blaccent. The only sin of comedy is being unfunny, I wouldn't even be mad if the shyt had some creativity or wit. It is just lame ass fakkitry.

Now black people who roast the hell out of every other race.

Because the shyt is wild mean spirited with no creative aspect. I remember this white girl I talked to a long time ago told me this joke that her brother told his "black friend"

"What do you call two black people in a sleeping bag....Twix"

Because it's typically lazy and rooted in antiquated stereotypes.

Even the "Black people do this / White people do this" jokes are lazy in 2021.

How come every time a black guy shyts in the pool, they be like, "Yo, check it," but when a white guy shyts in the pool, they be like, "Oh my, I've defecated in the swimming receptacle?" :troll:

Bill Burr saying slaves were the first triathletes in was funny to me in context.

When I win I bring we with me
Well if they are "racist jokes" then I mean:stopitslime: ....what do you expect.:yeshrug:

:patrice:
That said I've heard "racial" jokes/observations I've found funny cause It's just normal stuff to me I never gave a second thought to.
So it's interesting(funny) to hear an outside take.
  • Black people always having new cloths on / never wearing the same thing twice in a week.
  • Black church being long and missing the football game
  • etc etc etc

Because it comes as weird

like Louis CK fetishizing the n word

it’s just weird and odd.
Yeah. I like Louis CK and he can make good jokes about different races which are funny, but he’s like Quentin Tarantino with the n-word: they both use it gratuitously because they think they have a pass and can get away with it.

Someone like Bill Burr can make jokes about black people because it’s not coming from a place of maliciousness and it’s obvious he has grown up/fraternized around black people/culture. That’s why he can kill in black rooms and not pander. He can make an observation without it being uninformed. Same with Russell Peters, he grew up around black people so he can make “black jokes” without it being malicious.

But most of these white comedians have grown up in their own white cultural enclaves. So their only black experience comes from the media, hence why they make hacky jokes. “What’s up with black people a rims? Why do you have to have 24 inch rims?”

There’s a reason why Kevin Hart, Dave Chappelle, Russell Peters and Chris Rock are the top 5 grossing comedians WORLD WIDE… because their humor extends beyond black culture… they’ve learned to make humor relatable to all cultures. Most white comedians don’t because they have no real incentive to do so commercially.
