Why are so many black men accused of being gay/down-low?

Never heard anything about 50 or Ross.....
I remember there being a huge deal a few years ago about some cac saying he knows 50 is gay.
Ross on the other hand was (indirectly) accused of by none other by 50 himself.
Because it's a hard rumor to prove/dispel.
Lots of white entertainers also have gay rumors hanging over them, but I'll let you go on with your conspiracy.

this. there aint no way to "prove" you're straight under that type of accusation.

Because it's one of the most damaging accusations you can make a to a straight black man since we pride ourselves on our masculinity so they do it as an extra blow to the ego. It's like telling a black chick she isn't mixed with anything exotic.
