Why are states like Maine and Vermont blue?

This will come off as ignorant, but

I sometimes like to look into voting Demographics and what surprises me are pure cac states like Main and Vermont that vote blue. You'd think they'd easily be red being almost fully white and backwoods/country.

I might have to check them places out someday.

I mean are the immigrants in Sweden good people who bring value to the country or are they violent? You'd have a problem with immigrants if the later was in your backyard.

I’ve been to both too, my point was this is a message board of people who largely aren’t well-versed or traveled. And moreover, it’s just lazy as fukk coming into a conversation having done no background research. Like the entire thread title when you have the fukking internet is lazy as shyt and adds nothing as a discussion. If one of my interns asked me some shyt like this, I would tell him to go think about it and get back to me.

Yup and that doesn't even only apply in the US. The more racially/ethnically diverse a country or region is, the more right wing the majority gets. Shyt is pretty predictable. Although there are obviously cultural factors too.

If the US was 90% white we'd probably have universal healthcare by now.
