Probably has to do with diet and not stretching properly. That's about the age my body started to regress and I had to make big changes to diet and the way I took care of my body. Now I'm in the best shape of my life.
I do Yoga and fitness and man....

cats don't or can't adapt their skills to stay in the league once their athleticism goes.

others don't take care of their bodies.

even more become uncoachable or too set in their ways to entertain being a vet mentor.

don't want to play for the vet minimum or only want to play for contenders. too much pride to understand you can't build around vets.

injuries and mileage.

a lot of them extend their careers playing overseas though. more money, less competition, less pressure.

if you're being offered vet minimum chances are you've fallen off.

not necessarily. a lot of teams would jump at the chance to get ray allen at the vet min. i don't think most dudes would accept the vet min cause they need the money, by that point they should be set. they take the vet min to dictate where they want to play and the role they'll have.

Speed of the game, they can't carry all that extra weight into their 30's and think their joints are going to take kindly. The majority of the guys you named are overweight from their regular playing weight.

A few seasons ago Wade was fat as fukk and had to get back on his shyt and now he's Father Prime.
