Wwe probably got a handful of wrestlers today that's looked upon as intimidating.
New day is moreso a comedic relief type of group rather than a kick ass take names type.

@Living Proof I know you mentioned Kane as intimidating back then but now he's basically an accountant who throws on a mask every now and then.

even if you weren't personally intimidated by them, their characters were still a lot tougher than new day. shawn and hunter did a lot of silly shyt but when it was time to get serious they got serious.
you might not remember this moment but this was the first real meeting between austin and michaels after it was official they were facing each other at mania. austin, the rattlesnake, the rumble winner, the world's toughest SOB... he stepped to michaels and michaels didn't fukking flinch. the dude simply was not scared.
the new day characters joke too much. they're never serious. then again maybe that's partly because none of the tag teams going right now really demand to be taken seriously.

Sure their characters are tougher than the new day, but I wouldn't call them intimidating in any matter.
