And unless you know how to grind and have a high threshold along with patience and business sense there is not a lot out there for you without a college degree, some type of trade skill, or small business behind your name.

Most people go work some dead end job for peanuts, live check to check, and are about a missed paycheck from a financial catastrophe. I see plenty of people working in fast food, janitorial services, clerical work, and retail that are in their 30s, 40s, 50s, and older. Those jobs are cool for some young jit trying to establish themselves and are using that as a stepping stone, but once you hit a certain age you can't support yourself and a household off those type of jobs.

I hear this argument again and again, I guess it hits different for people who enjoy the company of others more but I don't get lonely like that, and prefer being alone. Moreover I could take or leave existing so if found out I had terminal cancer tomorrow I'd kick my feet up blow money on edibles and chill till it was time to go. The last 4-5 years have made me considerably apathetic. I'm more or less running out the clock on life trying to salvage what I can.

Oh don't get it twisted I'm in school have a few Associates Degrees, working towards a BA in Bus Admin, I save, invest the whole 9, I just don't care about it like that. I do it, because it's what I've deemed the best path to a stable self sufficient existence. But I'm not passionate about any of it. Once in a blue moon I have a good day but it's mostly meh or worse. I got things going I'm just not emotionally invested if that makes sense

Yeah I know, after I finish school I plan on seeing a black male therapist, I'm not sure how much they can do for me, but as time goes on I'll get over missteps/lost opportunities and be more accepting of my life. I need to see my work bare some type of fruit and they say 20s is learning 30s is earning. If I still don't enjoy life as much by 30 probably'll have to do some re-evalutions

This line of thinking is becoming increasingly popular. Besides there's all these "independent living communities" for seniors now. If someone stacked their bread properly they could pay someone to clean the drool off their chin when they're 80.
