Her whole thing is fitness and folk believing being fat is something to celebrate is contrary to everything she stands for. The sad part is I see a lot of black women following the Lizzo wave because it's convenient....I did the same thing when 4x State Property t-shirts was the wave back when I was because that shyt was convenient and allowed me to eat bullshyt everyday without working out.

But I can guarantee you Lizzo is going to lose that weight eventually and all the broads following her will turn their backs on her.

It’s nice to see ppl of all shapes and sizes getting equal opportunities. She can have a successful career as an artist and be overweight. That’s good to see.

At the same time, there are very real health concerns long term for someone who doesn’t take care of their body that way. This is indisputable. There’s no “perception” issue here, that’s how it works
