I can personally attest to this growing up in the Bx as a computer and tech/machine lover. I've had plenty of situations where I had to play stupider to fit in or keep from my ass gettin jumped. It's all about day to day survival...and growing up in ny teaches you to be a fukkin chameleon. Currently, there ain't one area where I can't fit in...from whiter than white ritzy invite-only affairs in DC, to hanging with my people in the projects, to chillin with weed heads in california on the beach, to hanging with the homeless crew in the woods in tents in the countryside and mountains.

Yeah, nikkas hated on me for being smart and "talking white" and aspiring to get out the projects...but it didn't stop me...just switch up when I'm around them and be normal when I'm around normal people.
If being "black" means being an illiterate limp-shuffling weed-smoking gun-waving 40oz drinking shiftless bum then sorry...imma see you at your funeral, I got better plans for life.
