Exactly this was back when women were not working/gender pay gap was still very large and both people were married. Unless you're married the assets are not shared. This shaming men into paying all the bills stuff when your woman works and makes decent money is a form of manipulation to get scammed by predatory selfish women. A real woman will contribute to the household so it is mutually beneficial not just padding her own accounts. He's essentially paying rent for the p*ssy doing this. Sad
