Why arent more people..especially men and younger (ie 20s) using coupons

I subscribed to the sunday tribune just for the coupons and in 3 weeks, I haven't found shyt I wanted to use. I mean its only $1 a week, but if I dont start finding any decent coupons, I'm gonna throw that subscription in the bushes.

I use coupons whenever I can...clothes, movies, meals, hotels, etc. If they only made em so I can use them on shoes

I use coupons when I can, and my lady is frugal too so if I tell I got a coupon for 2 for 1 somewhere she be like lets go nikka....

But like someone mentioned, I NEVER see coupons for the sh!t I'm already accustomed to buying so saving money on alot of sh!t i don't want or need defeats the purpose.

But I've never had that much pride to were I was ashamed of using them. Saving money is Saving money and there is no getting around that.

In college I used to look down on coupons but once I started working full time and seeing the stuff you can save on the stuff I regularly use...stuff like buy one bottle of shampoo/body wash get one free...I mean thats a cool 5 bucks saved a month thats $60/yr for buying what you were going to anyway!

My mom gave me a coupon from 1991 for a free pizza somewhere. I tried to use it in like 2000, (yes she gave it to me at this time)..My mom is super frugal (like literally had a BOOK full of coupons when we growing up), didn't even notice the date. ....most embarrassing situation ever. Bad shorty was like yeah, I'm sorry hun....your coupon is from 91....My homie starts cracking the fukk up... I felt like a dikkhead straight up......I don't think I've used a coupon in public since since breh

for household stuff, i'm already being cheap by messing with family dollar...I shop at pathmark so they usually have the stuff with th on sale prices when you use the pathmark card.

From my perspective when someone pulls out a coupon at a register, the youth today giggles and are almost embarrassed for the one using the coupon. They find it humorous and look down upon it because its a form of saving a little bit of money. Coupons are time consuming, so someone who clips coupons, are basically compared to someone collecting stamps or cats, (if that makes sense). They figure because they have money now, one simply does not have time, to rummage for coupons. like that "35cents" isn't going to make a difference.
