Why arent women good at video games.. still?

was thinking about this for awhile, you never seen women in any top tournament for any game (maybe a few exceptions every once in awhile). I figured as time progresses we would see more women in tournaments for games, but we dont..

But even a 1vs1 CARD GAME like Hearthstone you still see no women in lets say top 25 or something.. These are just thinking games and out playing your opponent games, and require no teammates (which is maybe a reason you dont see them on top teams cause they dont wanna deal with women).

but thats physically understanding while women cant compete with men. But whats stopping women from being good at Counter Strike or Halo ? in the 90s and early 2000s the argument was not a large enough sample size of women playing games (stigma). But in 2015, theres MILLIONS of female video games and none of them are really that good at video games

they got the same keyboard/mouse as me and you. The same xbox controller... so whats stopping them ? Are men just naturally superior at anything competitive rather it be physical or thinking ? Are our reflexes/hand eye coordination that much further ahead than women ?

I've met a few hardcore female gamers who could give you a run for your money. But they ARE in the minority I would guess it's just an interest thing.

They are some that are out there, alot are actually good. But they just dont have that competitive drive like most males. For instant my sister is better probably most you nikka's at games, but she's not going to enter a tournament or anything like that. She'll anonymously destroy you from behind the computer or xbox live....but when its time to get really competitive about a game she's not interested.


I notice that with alot of women, they are really good, usually knowledgeable but they just dont compete hardcore.
