Its very hard to vote against 'yourself' when the party comes out and tells you they are against you and then put policies in place to hurt 'you.'

The market price on racism hasn't been high enough(til recently) for most African American communities to consider leaving the nanny state, but thats changing.

As to your other point, the GoP is really killing themselves(very slowly) with the bigotry.

republicans like protecting their money and thats something alot of us dont have
