Only people I would hire that was Ex Cons are Family and Close Friends.

I do think some people with College Degrees are overrated, I rather hire someone with years of experience in that field rather than someone fresh out of school.

People without College Degrees but a soild and steady work history > ExCons

This is funny because I was talking to another poster on how we should give certain felons another chance at being apart of society..... If they earn it, but the way you explain it, Zay... it's like ex-cons and felons are entitled......

No sir... they have to earn it.. I be damned if a ex-con gets a job over me when I don't have a record and I graduated high school/GED

If anything you feel entitled.

nikka you graduated fuccin HS congrats :what:

Why do YOU deserve a job over an ex con who may have more skills/ a degree?

The mentality of ex-cons are going to vary just as much as the rest of the population.

True, but with ex-cons you never know what is going to trigger the behavior that got them locked up in the first place.

One minute they cool as a fan, the next minute you're gettin an ice pic through the eye socket.

BTW I'm in the process of starting a small biz and I would never hire an ex-con unless they had a hard-to-find desirable skill. Outside of that HELL NO. I've had friends and family who have been locked up numerous times, so I know better.

First of all, you don't know what kind of skills I have..... Second, it doesn't matter what you think because my record is clean.... I've worked government jobs and jobs that have require thorough background checks in order to receive licenses(like gaming licenses at casinos).

You can't get upset when "You do what the dummies do, " trying to make that fast cash instead of making slow money and get caught up. I can apply for another government job or any job and still come out good...
