why can't a rapper make pop songs without losing their fanbase

I think we need more artist like B.o.B who can do more than one genre, without getting all the hate

Well some people fukk with an artist because they made a certain type of music. If an artist switches his style up it's understandable if his fans are disappointed.

b.o.b didnt really sellout i actually become a fan of him cuz he was so versatile and his pop singing sounds,
dont sound forced cuz he's been making that type of music, that song with feature is more of a sellout then the song with taylor
swift cuz he been doing songs like that for years
