thats what i just overheard this black girl saying to another person as her father(i'm assuming) was crossing the street to greet her at her car....granted i don't know the whole story but damn...i thought we tryin to keep the black man apart of the family unit....:patrice:

Maybe he molested her? Maybe hes a dikk? I knew this broad that worked at whole foods. Father paid for her to have an off campus apartment and all her bills, and the chick was still complaining.

The matriarchal family unit has become such a staple in the black community that sadly I'm starting to believe many black people coming up just have accepted it as "the norm".

I could never imagine life thinking about "what's a father?" and what his purpose is...
